Lighting and Experience Designer
I am an industrial designer dedicated to challenging conventional production methods and materials through the creation of innovative objects. My design practice is rooted in continuous exploration, iterative development, design research, rapid prototyping, and model-making. I am deeply inspired by collaboration with fellow designers and researchers, particularly when it comes to developing new, environmentally sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
My work examines the interplay of narrative, process, and value in everyday objects. Drawing inspiration from both historical and contemporary cultures, I blend elements of industrial production with the sensitivity of handcrafting. A hands-on approach to materials and making is central to my practice, enabling me to create thoughtful, meaningful designs that resonate with people and their environments.

My background in furniture and interior design — shaped by my education at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India — has given me a distinctive perspective on the intersection of art and functionality. I believe these elements can coexist harmoniously to create designs that are both timeless and impactful. Guided by a minimalist aesthetic, I embrace the power of simplicity to shape spaces that feel considered and uplifting.

Through active participation in product reviews, brainstorming sessions, and product launches, I ensure that each design aligns seamlessly with brand attributes while exceeding expectations for quality and innovation.
Regularly attending and participating in the industry events such as Dallas Lightovation, HD Expo, BDNY and High Point Market, and collaborating with conceptual partners, keeps my work attuned to emerging trends and new ideas. My involvement extends to presentations and home décor projects, ensuring that every design I create enriches the spaces it illuminates.
